ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER


REPORTS TO:
RESTAURANT MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: RESTAURANT DEPARTMENT

 

PURPOSE: To ensure the smooth operation of the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner service. To be responsible for sales, organisation of services and facilities offered to the customer in the F&B areas of the hotel. Also responsible for the performance and development of the restaurant team.

 

OPERATIONAL RESONSIBILITIES:

- In this role you will ensure the smooth operation of the hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner service
- The candidate will be responsible for sales, organisation of services and facilities offered to the customer in the F&B areas of the hotel
- You will be in responsible for the performance and development of the restaurant team
- Previous experience in leading a team in a restaurant environment

R.R.C (RAPID RESPONSE CENTRE) TEAM LEADER

 

REPORTS TO: R.R.C MANAGER

DEPARTMENT: R.R.C DEPARTMENT

 

PURPOSE: To be customer service oriented, dedicated, professional, and efficient to supervise the Runners and Agents in order to ensure all guests requests, including deliverables, rooms’ service orders and problem resolution are properly dealt with.

 

OPERATIONAL RESONSIBILITIES:

- Operate telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls externally and internally.
- Process guest requests for wake up calls, screening calls, and other requests related to placing or receiving telephone calls.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, complaints or concerns.
- Receive record and relay messages accurately, completely and legibly.
- Log all guest requests or issues into Guest ware, contact appropriate individual or department (e.g. Runner, Shift Engineer) and follow up with guest to ensure their request has been met to their satisfaction.
- Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
- Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
- Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals.

R.R.C (RAPID RESPONSE CENTRE) RUNNER


REPORTS TO:
R.R.C TEAM LEADER

DEPARTMENT: R.R.C DEPARTMENT

 

PURPOSE: To be customer service oriented, dedicated, professional, fast and efficient to ensure all guests requests, including deliverables, rooms’ service orders and problem resolution are properly dealt with.

 

OPERATIONAL RESONSIBILITIES:

- Place requested items such as rollaway beds and refrigerators in guest rooms.
- Deliver extra towels, bathrobes, and other items to guest rooms. Provide complimentary toiletries to guests, such as toothpaste, razors and shampoo.
- Deliver items (e.g., food delivery, messages, amenities, mail, faxes, packages, flowers, sundry items, gift items) to guest rooms.
- Deliver rollaway beds, cribs, linens, toiletries, and other items requested by guests to guest rooms.
- Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
- Take inventory of Rapid Response Centre’s stock items when on shift, report stock levels and give logs to Team Leaders.
- Carry out requisition orders in order to maintain par stock levels as approved by Team Leaders.

FLOOR SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO: HEAD HOUSEKEEPER

DEPARTMENT: HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT

 

PURPOSE: To supervise room attendants to deliver an excellent guest experience while monitoring cleaning standards and assisting the Head Housekeeper in achieving the housekeeping targets.

 

OPERATIONAL RESONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise Room Attendants- Daily allocation of rooms and spring cleaning tasks to team members
- Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant team members
- Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards
- Aware of all room categories and amenities
- Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Carry out lost property procedures
- Ensure guest laundry is cleaned and delivered in a timely manner
- Report maintenance issues to Maintenance Department
- Assist Head Housekeeper with training requirements
- Represent the needs of the team to others in the hotel
- Be environmentally aware
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Assist other departments whenever necessary and maintain good working relationships
